i bought a panasonic lumix camera, which has a video recording function, uses ''avchd lite' as the default.
the video files are recognised by shotwell and downloaded to the computer from the camera, however when i play them, it is not smooth at all, but jerky, stop and go. i tried mplayer (which does not play at all) and movie player / vlc which preform as stated
i am using a standard lmde, with updates and no modifications
should i be using an alternate media player, or converting the files to something more playable ?
tks

Re: avchd videos on debian
I personally would scope out a converter for the format, not on my Mint installs right now so I can't help with finding one right now.JMHO
