Seems I can't view some streaming videos online because of asf issues, I had this fixed before but forgot what I did to fix it, I have flash installed, maybe I used vlc instead mplayer in firefox not sure now.
Anyone have these issues and fixed them?
Please let me know
I'll keep tinkering with it.
Thanks in advance
Sam

Re: ASF not working in streaming videos
Hello Sam, Have you managed to find a solution to your problem? It seems that I am experiencing the same issue as well. Please let me know how did you manage to fix it. Thank you!
Re: ASF not working in streaming videos
Yup I'm using xfce now but this site helped to get things working fine, mind you this is for ubuntu but the streaming and video worked for me, it solved this issue for me.
You can check it out Here
Just get the things you need ( you don't need all things it says as it gives a ton of stuff you can add ) All the codecs and video stuff and plugins etc is pretty much what I took to get it working, of course the ffmpeg.
Hope this helps out
