Ok I searched for this question and not found a straight answer that works. I have Linux Mint installed dual boot Windows (for testing I tested LMDE on a netbook and all works great)
--> now I want to make a switch from Mint to LMDE - and I think bootstrapping is like testing it in a different directory without harming current install
I have no clue on the right steps to do this and tried but failed
debootstrap --arch amd64 debian /home/g6asus/chroots/lmde http://packages.linuxmint.com/
( i copied another script and changed the name to debian)
Also I would also like someone to help me figure out how to triple boot Windows, Linux Mint and LMDE
Also someone says I can't overright my Linux Mint Nadia with LMDE because of difference?
Thanks
thanks for your help in advance.
