I realize that the last spin came out as recently as March 2013, but considering the volume of updates, thanks in particular to the switch to Jessie base (Debian 7), wouldn't it make sense to release a live/installable ISO, which can then be easily copied and swapped around. In many parts of the world the sneakernet still serves a major purpose.
Also, despite being a semi-rolling distro, there are many cases where having fresh installation media available locally is useful or even necessary.
Is an ISO refresh being planned?
And finally a somewhat unrelated thought: Why isn't LMDE listed by Distrowatch? The chart-leading Mint entry only details the buntu-based releases, although new LMDE ISO releases do get mentioned under the other Linux Mint title.
Any plans for a new LMDE ISO spin based on UP7?

Only after Mint 16 release: http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=2427#comment-99700
At the end of that blog post you can read that Mint 16 will be released in November. Add some time needed for all the additional editions (Xfce, KDE) and you will get the end of December/start of January. (Just my speculation.)

What are the chances we'll see encryption added as an option in the next installer? I've had issues with each of the various LUKS tutorials and for both my personal and client laptops encryption is essential.
Many thanks for a brilliant distro.

Don't know, but I suggest opening an issue about that at https://github.com/linuxmint/live-installer/issuesb.durruti wrote:What are the chances we'll see encryption added as an option in the next installer?
