automatically update everything not just security updates?

Hi

I've just switched from ubuntu and i'm loving LMDE.

As this is a rolling distro how can i set the updates to automatically down load and install all updates for all packages not just security updates?

I've only been using it for 3 days and new package updates keep appearing but I have to manually open the update manager and click install. I would rather it was all automatic just like the security updates are.

Is this possible?

No. Only Security Updates can be installed automatically.

I just looked at the setting in the Synaptic Package Manager and the choices given are Download and Install Security Updates, Download All Updates in Background or Only Notify About Available Updates.

well i believe the sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade will do just what you are looking for, so if that is added to apt-cron, it will probably carry on just nicely
