E: /var/cache/apt/archives/gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad_0.10.22-3_i386.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstxvid.so', which is also in package gstreamer0.10-plugins-really-bad 0.10.22-0.1


I'm trying to update LMDE after a fresh install. But, for some reason, I keep getting this error. What should I do?

follow this link for a fix

Open a terminal and enter

sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad_0.10.22-3_i386.deb

This should be stickied. There's like half a dozen different topics on page 1 of this forum that have given (or needed) this same solution.
