Usually when i startup LinuxMint i click install after it first runs,
this latest 20120424 Linux Mint Debian edition wants a user name and password even before i decide to install or not.
Is this the way it works now? Did i miss out on a username + password somewhere?

username is mint; leave password blank.

Hi,
I just got the same issue, and "mint"/blank doesn't work.
I don't understand how guys think to ask login/pwd to the very first step of installation/live-cd is a good option.
I think linux world is far from Windows and very very far from Apple world (I'm saying that and I dislike Apple for others reasons!)
