compiz-replace logs me out.

Trying to enable desktop cube in LMDE 64 bit with cinnamon. Try as I might, nothing happens. But running compiz-replace logs me out. Annoying. What am I doing wrong?

compiz is not compatible with gnome3: that means no compiz in cinnamon or gnome-shell;
