[Solved] Printer Troubles

Postby WhatUsernameIsFree? on Wed May 02, 2012 6:07 am

Hi,

I've added my Printer by going Activities -> Printing. I can see them on my computer but when I print off Documents all I get a page printed out which says
Code: Select all
ERROR:
invalidaccess
OFFENDING COMMAND:
filter
STACK
/SubFileDecode
endstream
0
--nostringval--
--nostringval--
36
false

Printer is a HP 4050n. I'm using Gnome 3 (which seems more trouble than it's worth! ) and LMDE. It all used to work perfectly til I upgraded, not sure what's changed!

Thanks

This was solved by Ben on the LMDE IRC chat thing.

I needed to install hplip hplip-cups

Hope that helps anyone else having problems. :)
