i assume that you're talking about LMDE (linux mint debian edition); if so, we never had an ed. 13, or 12 or going to have a 14.
lmde is always release 1
- Code: Select all

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: LinuxMint
Description: Linux Mint Debian Edition
Release: 1
Codename: debian
what you see are respin dates (year+month > 201204, the latest) updating the installation iso.
regarding U1:
1- it is
always a terrible idea to add ubuntu repos into a debian system (sooner or latter, most of the times sooner, you are going to break the system)
2- U1 doesn't work anymore in debian (apparently it did some time ago but the dep changed so much that today is impossible to make it work)
surely you know other options (or had to be U1?)
- dropbox
- SpiderOak
