Lost Hardware acceleration:No cinnamon,No video

Postby ale_ngr on Wed Aug 29, 2012 8:17 am

All good till one hour ago, after reboot I can only log in gnome classic and mate.
Trying to log in cinnamon or shell starts automatically gnome classic.
Even worse any video player shows a black screen during movies playback (audio and web-streaming video are ok)

may be a loss of 3D acceleration, probably a graphic driver issue, i could have bleachBitted something away by mistake....
Code: Select all
~ $ inxi -Gx
Graphics:  Card Intel N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller X.Org 1.11.4 Res: 1024x768@75.1hz
GLX Renderer Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe GLX Version 2.1 Mesa 7.11.2 Direct Rendering Yes

direct rendering is fine ...
running LMDE on a netbook 1.66GHz, 2G Ram, Intel Graphics, kernel 3.4.0-9.dmz.4-liquorix-686
any suggestion? :?
if anybody out there has any idea on how to restore problematic graphic drivers would be great.

thanx
