Sorry I'm not sure where I should ask so am asking here.

Was there something wrong with the LMDE repositories the last week I believe?

Reason I ask is it was taking me forever to get anything. I thought I screwed something up by adding the deb-multimedia.org repo to my sources.list. I didn't pay attention the Multimedia repo for LMDE has almost the exact same packages. I did a fresh install and still had trouble it took me yesterday like an hour to even get the few updates there were when they usually take 15 even 30 mins max.

Or was it just me?

not that i noticed, nothing wrong with the mirrors i use (always the default, they serve me well speed-wise, so i see no point in changing them) but what exactly did you changed in the repos? if you are tracking latest/incoming adding deb.multimedia is not a good idea!
can you please share the output of
Code: Select all
