Half an hour ago I had a boot crash, Lmde didn't boot.
That was not: 1 - hardware problem (windows 7 in the same disk booted ok); 2 - update/upgrade problem (I didn't update/upgrade anything in two weeks); 3 - unistalled key packages (I did not uninstall nothing)
I entered in repair mode and the display errors said that dev/sdb2 (where there is /home) cannot be accessed and bla bla bla... (I don't remember all). And that a var/log/fsck/checkfs error file was created. Also there was a suggestion to do a manual fix with fsck.
I did it. Fsck repaired a lot of errors. Then I rebooted, and all went fine. I'm writing now from my Lmde.
I did go immediately to check the checkfs file and no error was there (probably removed when I repaired manually the system).
Ok, for now all is fine. But... what happened? Is "normal" to have this kind of system crash without any apparent reason? I'm scared.
