How to control dialog box placement using Xinerama?

Postby ejones1025 on Sun Oct 20, 2013 4:54 pm

I installed a new download of LMDE Mate 201303 64 bit AMD with no problems. Next I updated the system - 1350 files more or less.

I installed the nvidia drivers for 2 graphic cards using 3 screens 2 monitors and 1 TV set. Screens set to separate X screens and Xinerama enabled. I purged/blacklisted the original graphic drivers (nouveau)

I can "drag and drop" items from one screen to another. When I try to delete the item (new folder) the dialog box comes up on the 3rd screen (TV Set). I need the dialog box on screen 1. How can I do it?

Looks like the dialog box is posted in the center of the Xinerama (combining 3 screens) screen and ends on the edge of the tv screen.

Still looking for any answer
