LMDE MATE Grey-on-grey problem in slider bar

Postby k7aay on Sat Jan 04, 2014 2:16 am

The tab in slider bar at left (and sometimes at bottom) is grey-on-grey. I have trouble seeing that.

I also don't see any Settings or Control Panel I can use to change that, nor do I find a control for Themes.

How may I change the colors of the tab in the slider bar(s)?

How may I change the theme for MATE in LMDE?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

mintMenu -> Control Center -> Personal -> Appearance
or
mintMenu -> All Applications -> Preferences -> Appearance
or
mintMenu -> start typing 'appearance' -> click on Appearance
or
run terminal -> run mate-appearance-properties

I don't know how at least one of these ways can be missed :)

Missed, when my LMDE install doesn't have the MintMenu.
