Mint/Debian LMDE Mouse and Keyboard Freeze

Postby aybro on Mon Apr 28, 2014 4:24 am

I have installed the new Mint/Debian LMDE Cinnamon. I have question as to why my mouse and keyboard will freeze. It seems to only do that with the OS installed. When I boot to Live, it doesnt do that.

FYI..I LLF the harddrive and re-installed and it is still doing that. Still freezing the mouse and keyboard. Must push panic(reboot) button to get it started again

Just thought I would try something on my own since I am getting so much info on this subject here at the forum.....I downloaded an ISO of Mint 16 Cinnamon, burnt the image and popped it in the drive. Booted to it and got as far as the first screen to install...Where the choice of languages is. I clicked on the link for Documentation and the browser got about half way open and then the same thing happened..Frozen mouse and keyboard...Is this one supposed to be "stable"?

Whats the deal? Anybody?
