Lost!!! Can't install LMDE (Solved)
okay, how do I use gparted to set up an unformatted drive with no partition table so I can install LMDE? I am use to the rather nice installers in other versions of Mint and Ubuntu. I've tried a dozen different schemes with no luck. I keep getting a message to chooce the root (/) partition. I don't know how to set up the partitions apparently.

Re: Lost!!! Can't install LMDE
First create a new partition with Gparted then I read that you have to right-click it in the installer and choose (/) for the mount point.
(I didn't install it myself)
