Hi,
I am trying to disable the screen lock in LMDE. IN Mint 9 I would just use Ubuntu Tweak, but I need an alternative solution here.
Essentially if the computer sits for a while it blanks the screen, or hibernates or whatever it does. When I go to use it again it pops up with a green background asking for my password to unlock the system. I want to stop both the screen blanking, as it happens while I am watching videos and also playing games and gets very annoying, and the pass word screen. Preferably a graphical method, but I will use the command line if forced too.
Thanks again for all the help, and great system.
btw, the USB problem seemed to just right itself, so good job. Still need to work out Exaile, FCEUX, Listen and NFS auto mounting and my system will be perfect.
Cheers
Christof

I would like to suggest that you take a look at your screensaver settings, there may be something there that you can adjust / turn off.

Menu>Preferences>Screensaver>
Uncheck 'Lock screen when screensaver is active'
