I tryed to instal Calibre in my LMDE 64 bits, whit synaptic, and didin't work.... and the software manager either.... and the the terminal almost but... either...

thast because the sistem for some reason dont downloaded the python..., so first...

1. open terminal and type

Code: Select all
sudo aptitude install calibre -y


and waith, when it finished, close and...


2. download this

http://ftp.br.debian.org/debian/pool/ma ... _amd64.deb

and open it whit gdebi.

3. type calibre in the menu, and select install.

that's it
