Omit certain package upgrades from aptitude search

Postby aquaboot on Mon Jan 17, 2011 2:57 pm

Hi All,

Lets say I do an aptitude upgrade and find a package(s) displayed that I don't want to install. Is there a way to filter this package out of future searches so it doesn't constantly appear ready for download?

Thanks,

ab
