[SOLVED] NTP time is slightly wrong.

Post by chris_debian »

Hi, all!

The time on my LMDE box is slightly wrong. I think LMDE uses NTP and the time that I see is about 5 minutes out. Does anyone know how to correct/ resync this?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris

### UPDATE:

NTP package now installed. No wonder it didn't work. My fault!

Did you install the ntp package yourself? If not, ntp is not in the default install. You may wish to verify this.
Current hardware: a Dell OptiPlex 3010 desktop, a Dell Inspiron 531 desktop, and a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop.
Current OS: LMDE 3
