Install mint packages after installing debian

Postby psiko on Wed Feb 23, 2011 7:52 pm

Hi all,

due to hardware compatiblity issues (i have an Asus A52J laptop) the last edition of LMDE of december 2010 couldn't install it on my laptop. My question then is if I can install debian and then the mint packages, and if there is a chance to go well doing that :)

All technical notes would be good received.

Thanks.

In case you are interested in using Linux Mint with Debian Squeeze (stable) please read my tutorial here http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/378
Debian Squeeze is very well tested and for that reason is stable.
