Problem with cron on LMDE 64 bit

Postby Piilen on Tue Mar 01, 2011 7:44 am

Hi, I'm still trying to tame LMDE and get everything working as it did with the standard Mint 9

When I try to get something to run as a scheduled task it fails promptly.
Here at 12 o'clock I tried to start two jobs as you can see from the syslog they die
I have added my user to /etc/cron.allow in the hope that that would get things running.
The exact same commands run fine when run manually on the machine and using cron on Mint 9

My guess is that I need to enable something somewhere - but what?
