Unable to mount USBs from USB install of LMDE

Postby norville05 on Wed May 11, 2011 10:09 am

I installed LMDE onto a USB key. I did not do it as a live cd with persistence. I was having trouble with Mint not loading in that case. Instead I did an advance install onto a flashdrive.

Every time I try to mount another USB I get the following error:

Unable to mount <USB Name>
Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 1: helper failed with:
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sdc1 is already mounted on /
mount failed

Any help you could provide me with this would be wonderful.
