[compiz] show desktop & roll window

Postby pionono on Sun May 15, 2011 1:03 pm

Hi.
I've installed today this distro.. I've used maaaaany distros (slackware from 7.1 to 9, debian, ubuntu), but the last release of ubuntu.. isn't for me :)
I would to activate some features that I had on ubuntu:

- when I go with the mouse in one of the corner of the desktop, all windows are minimized
- when I use the mouse scroll on the window bar, this as a "roll up" effect

On ubuntu I apply this feature with ubuntu tweak, but on mint-debian I don't know..

Thanks!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

when I go with the mouse in one of the corner of the desktop, all windows are minimized
- I use simple-ccsm for this (taken from Ubuntu, very naughty I know, I have the deb if you want it). link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1286239/simple- ... u1_all.deb

when I use the mouse scroll on the window bar, this as a "roll up" effect
- I have this set up, but can't remember how or where the bloody setting is :(

Thanks!
Ok for the corner
As regards to the "roll-up" effects, could you check your gconf-editor? It could be there!

Well it should be in /home/youruser/.config/compiz/compizconfig/Default.ini
Code: Select all
[core]
as_active_plugins = core;ccp;move;resize;place;decoration;tile;mousepoll;regex;shift;png;gnomecompat;water;commands;wobbly;cube;rotate;winrules;shelf;wizard;atlantis;elements;snow;switcher;animation;animationaddon;freewins;expo;
s0_hsize = 4

[place]
s0_viewport_matches = class=Lazarus;
s0_viewport_x_values = 2;
s0_viewport_y_values = 1;

[winrules]
s0_above_match = class=Pino

[rotate]
as_initiate_button = <Super>Button1
as_rotate_flip_right_edge =
as_rotate_flip_left_edge =

[commands]
as_command0 = gmrun
as_run_command0_key = <Alt>2
as_command1 = gnome-terminal
as_run_command1_key = <Super>t

[animation]
s0_minimize_effects = animationaddon:Burn;

[cube]
s0_active_opacity = 29.832899

[wobbly]
as_snap_inverted = false

[shelf]
as_trigger_key = <Super>s

[shift]
as_initiate_key = Disabled

[elements]
as_toggle_autumn_key = <Shift><Super>space
as_toggle_bubbles_key = <Control><Alt>e

[snow]
as_snow_textures = /home/molly/.compiz/images/snow1.png;snowflake.png;

[stackswitch]
as_next_key = <Alt>Tab

[expo]
as_deform = 2
as_multioutput_mode = 1

But I can't see it :( will keep looking.

Also I have this installed:

Gives all of the bling :)
