Compiling Murrine .98
I want to install this theme here: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php? ... orumpage=6 but it requires Murrine .98. For some reason the mint LMDE repositories have Murrine locked at .90, although apparently .98 is in the debian testing repositories (https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/782889). Would it be unintelligent of me to try to compile Murrine .98 to replace the current one? Or is there a good way I can upgrade my install without first uninstalling the older version?

If you have the Debian testing repositories in your sources list you can use Synaptic Package > Force Version to install a different version.

Interesting, I didn't know you could do that. Worked perfectly, thanks.
