Which type of DVD should I use to burn the ISO?
Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE)
I have tried Brasiero and K3B, neither will burn the disk.

Re: Which DVD should I use?
The following is copied from the Linux Mint Official User Guide which can be downloaded from http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/linuxmint.com/ ... h_10.0.pdf
"Now that you have checked the ISO file with MD5, you are ready to burn it to a CD.
Note: Some editions might require a DVD. Basically, if the ISO is larger than 700MB you need to burn it
on a DVD (preferably a DVD-R).
Get a blank CD-R (a CD-RW should work as well, but this type of media is known to
have compatibility issues) and your favorite marker and label the CD. Although labeling
your CD's sounds trivial, you should be sure to do so, as you can easily end up with 20
unlabeled and unidentifiable discs on your desk. "
I use Brasero to burn DVD-R disks without any problems. Are you getting any error messages?

[Solved] Re: Which DVD should I use?
Both burning programs state the disk is not compatible.
It is a DVD-R, 4.7GB.
Is there another ISO Burning Program that I can use?
The above was tried on my Desktop.
I have just tried Xfburn in my Laptop and it states "Drive is empty"!?
New Update:
I loaded K3b into my LinxMint11 LXDE and I was able to burn a DVD-R!
Thanks for your help.

Re: Which DVD should I use?
I personally do not use DVD's anymore for installation. I use a thumb drive. Seems to work every time.
