Have managed, somehow, to install AdobeAIR on my system so I can use the BBC iPlayer. However, the desktop module is asking for permission to access the space where any recordings will be kept. This is apparently being denied.
The iPlayer message suggests adding the application to the keychain, although I suspect this may be keyring in linux terms?
I'm not au fait with this so if someone would kindly point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
Thanks
Andrew

Re: BBC iPlayer keychain/keyring
Why don't you run it as root then?
Try "sudo iplayer" in terminal, or whatever the command is for iplayer, put that in the terminal after "sudo".
