Hello everyone,
I'm a new user of LMDE (I switched a month ago from Ubuntu, which I'd used for almost two years). I read Clem's blog post about switching the Linux Mint main edition (and, I assume, LMDE) to Gnome 3 (http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=1851), and have what I think will be a quick question about it. I regularly use the "Invert Colors" feature of Compiz in Gnome 2 to reduce eyestrain. This feature allows specific windows (or all windows at once) to be inverted with a keypress. To my knowledge, Gnome 3 hasn't come out with an equivalent feature that doesn't require changing all of the other display settings. Will the Mint Gnome Shell Extensions have a feature that allows color inverting? I'm trying to figure this out before I switch over to Gnome 3.
I'm not sure whether I've posted this question in the most appropriate place. If I've not, please let me know. I'm very grateful for any help you would be willing to offer!
My best,
J.

Re: Question about LMDE Gnome 3
I don't think it exists yet, but is being planned on according to this: http://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell/Magnification. Apparently the ability to invert colors would come under this tool.
