Hello,
Just installed linux mint debian. ive created accout say name : USER password:user23.
and instead 23 i typed in foreign letters cause ive selected my own country during installation.
ive relized it later while using mint. so i opened terminal typed in :
passwd USER
new password:user23 this time using digits instead of foreigh shrift.
later after restarting. when gdm starts i cant log in through it using either of the passwords, meaning f. shrifts or digits, but once i open terminal using cntr+alt+f1 i can log in using password with digits at the end.
how can i fix this situation so i could log in using gdm?
