Hi,
Recently installed LMDE (with XFCE desktop), enjoying it so far!
One thing I'd like to change:
Is there a way to tell the system not to ask me the password, when I mount the partition? I don't need this level of security on this particular computer.
I know that it is possible just to add the partitions to /etc/fstab and they will be mounted during the boot time. But I would prefer to keep them auto-mounted on demand, just without the password protection.
mount partitions without asking password?

Re: mount partitions without asking password?
it actually be nice for linux in general to automount the partitions like in windows as its rather a pain to mount all the time
i know that theres apps out there to do this, but, come on, its 2011 and yet we still have to manually mount.

I am actually satisfied with how automount works in Linux. I just want the password thing to be skipped.
Like in Ubuntu, where it mounts the partition when you click it for the first time in the file manager, without asking anything.
