This wallpaper is horrible. If i'd say so myself the April fools jokes aren't over; what is this, a tribute to Windows? It looks like both, a windows background and login screen as well as a cater to anyone with an extinct processor. Come on Mint, let's do better; there are plenty of deviant art artist out there with talent that'd be useful. Let's find them!

Well, I must say that I prefer simple and abstract backgrounds, like this one...but of course, we're all entitled to our own opinions. May I kindly suggest that instead of bashing Zwopper's hard work, you could instead offer some constructive criticism, or better yet, submit your own piece of artwork to give us an idea of what you'd like to see in a wallpaper?

When using artwork you must give credit to the originator correct?
Re: New wallpaper - LM9 (Source included)
That depends on what license the artwork is licensed under. If it's in the public domain, or licensed under certain open-source licenses, then I believe you don't actually have to include the original author's name...but I could be wrong. As far as I know, if you're dealing with stuff licensed under the GPL, you don't have to specifically credit the original author, but you must license your work under the GPL as well.

What do you think about this softer and lighter modification?
