Hello.
I just installed LMDE 201403, with the intention of using it for distributed processing -- specifically, BOINC. It has a Core 2 Duo 4-core cpu and a GPU that does OpenCL. Furthermore, I anticipate setting up 1 or 2 more boxes for this purpose.
But, I was quite bummed when I realized that LMDE doesn't do SMP.
So, is there some way that I can hack it to make it crunch with all the cores?
SMP support?

LMDE release notes -> "Multi-core and multi-CPU support in 32-bit kernel"
Re: SMP support? [solved]
Excellent!
So that's why no one asked about it in a forum.
I probably read it when I downloaded the iso. But, I didn't have this computer at the time, so I forgot about it.
Thank you.
