Liquorix and grub splash image problem

Hi there.

Yesterday, after performing a dist-upgrade in my 32-bit LMDE laptop, I then installed the liquorix kernel and noticed that the grub splash image doesn't show anymore when I startup the computer.
Grub menu colors keep black/white but the image doesn't show.

I checked that linuxmint.png image was present on /boot/grub and /boot/boot/grub folders.

Is there a way to fix this?
