wireless and printer stops working

Not sure if this issue has happened with others but two major issues for my LMDE install.

Wireless just stopped working suddenly. I booted up my Debian partition and it worked instantly.

I recently booted up LMDE and installed splix drivers for my Samsung printer. It printed a few times and then it won't print. It's as if it went offline.

I needed to print so I booted up Debian again. The printer works normally in Debian. Not impressed w/ LMDE.
