1. When I had installed the last release of LMDE, it lacked a ".fonts.conf" file in the home directory and as a result fonts looked terrible in google chrome. I wish this time it will be present by default. Pardon me if I am wrong.

2. "Switch User" feature in cinnamon. It is essential in home desktop environments where multiple users share the same desktop.
