What version of Cinnamon will be in LMDE 2

I was wondering what version of Cinnamon will land in LMDE 2 will we see 2.2 or 2.4 ? I have not heard much about Betsy lately except it is not expected till spring 2015

I think it'll be 2.4 because it's already released, so there's no point in keeping 2.2. The devs just need to adapt it to GTK+ 3.14 a bit...

it depens on how long until jessie becomes stable. on the last official statement mint team said that LMDE2 won't get released until jessie becomes stable. when it got released we might already have 2.6 or newer.

For now, it is said that Cinnamon 2.4 will reach LMDE 2 in 2015. But 2.2 was supposed to join LMDE this summer

the best possible scenario is that jessie will become stable around february. so let's hope the release date will be around that time so that you will got new shiny 2.4 on next lmde release :3
