The Next Version of 64 bit LMDE: When?

Postby dmhm on Sat Jan 01, 2011 9:54 am

The LMDE Release Notice mention a few issues that are being dealt with.

Since I'm having an installation problem, I'm considering waiting for for the next release (using Isadora, meanwhile). When is that expected? TIA.

Hi:
Yes a new version of 64 LMDE would really be appreciated. I even purchased a nice new
500 gig internal drive for it..
So far the first 2 versions just didn't work for me..
But i am waiting , waiting waiting..
Until then 10 is it.
Everyone have a Happy New Year

I believe that they're working on a re-release of the 32bit, but not the 64 bit. I know that I couldn't boot the December edition of the 32 bit on my pc, but I had no problems with the first Sept edition and didn't have any issues with the 64bit either.

If you're having issues installing the 64bit you may want to start a topic and in the message include specifics like your pc architecture and specific errors or whatever happens when you are attempting to install. Hopefully someone will have a fix for you!
