(solved)Is debian.org down?

I can't download and install anything from the repo. I get a message can't connect to debian.org. I tried to connect to debian.org in FF and it times out. This has been happening for about two weeks. I didn't have any issues until I update LMDE to mint 10. I've tried it on 2 boxes with the same results. Is this just my ISP or is there a problem with debian?

I can get to the Debian.org website and I have had no issues with updates.

the Debian repo's are slower than you know what, as always, but I _can_ connect to them.

If you are still using the default sources in LMDE, you will probably get better download speeds if you use your country code.

For example, you live in the United States:

If you live in the Kingdom of the Netherlands:

deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free

Notice where the "us" and "nl" are inserted in the above sources.

On a side notes, there are not that many updates coming in except for some bug fixes.

I'm getting this error Could not resolve ftp.us.debian.org.

Debian.org was up and running this morning. I still don't know what the issue was, my ISP or something with Debian.org.
