Next updated/spin iso LMDE Gnome.. When?

So.... when can we finally expect the new spin of the LMDE Gnome iso. Any news on that? A friend of mine want's it installed on his laptop but he doesn't want to pull in extra 700+ MB of updates after the install.

There has been no expected date released as far as I know.
I'd imagine soon the focus will be on Linux Mint 11 as the release date for Ubuntu 11.04 approaches. I'm not sure if this means we'll have to wait till after that release, or whether a new iso will be spinned for LMDE in the meantime.
