the second link (filefront.com#) tells me the file wouldnt be availiable no more. The first (isohunt.com) lets me download two torrents, one for netinst and one for the complete iso, but when i open them in deluge they dont start.
any way around this?

But i got the same problem: i download the torrent and open it with deluge, and after that nothing happens. It shows me one seeder, but no download, no upload and ETA is infinity.

About what you say "seed your downloads at a 2-1 ratio": To be honest, i got the default values in deluge, most of the things are set to -1 (= unlimited). I had a look if i would find a way to set it to 2-1 ratio but couldnt figure it out. You may tell me how to? thanks for helping.

I will let deluge open for a while now, might be something will happen, or perhaps install transmission and try with that...

I can keep it on my HDD and share it through torrent whenever someone asks me to (by private message) - no problem. The thing is I can't download it at the moment, because it doesn't have any (working) seeds. Anyway, the ISO doesn't seem to be very popular if it only has 28 downloads.

A few weeks ago, I downloaded and installed Debian 6.0 Squeeze (testing) on a seperate partition.

I selected Xfce as my DesktopEnvironment/WM (with as little Gnome bloat as possible).
I just like it better, than Gnome or KDE.

I am at the point where, I have, started to Mint-ify it.
So far I have added the Mint repositories to the Debian (testing) repositories, and MintMenu ....
I think, I'm going to wait until after Helena-8 is released before adding the rest of the Mint specific items.
(The Mint-8 release date is not that far away)

I love the rolling release of Debian Squeeze. My Mint-Squeeze is fast, with eye-candy.

After, I am finished with my new version of Mint-Debian-Squeeze/Xfce (testing) . . . is it possible to release it to other people?

How does one make an ISO LiveDVD of an OS? Or put it on a flash-drive?
I guess, I could write a detailed Tutorial of how to make your own Mint-Debian (but, that will still be awhile ... I'm having fun playing)

you may try remastersys:

just create a directory and run remastersys -backup, a live iso will (or should) be the result after a while. you need enough space.

Or put it on a flash-drive?

finally i was able to download it from the last mentioned torrent. took me about 10 hours. i installed it with success. If one is interested: i backed it up twice and im able to send it via giga-mail. just pm me if interested.
