I love LMDE but....

It doesn't work well with pogo games (powered by java)

My system: Dual Boot with Windows 7 and Linux Mint.
AMD Athalon II X2 235E Dual Core
700 GB HDD
6 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6150SE Integrated Graphics card

My problem: I like to play pogo card games powered by java. The games work fine with Linux Mint regular edition, but when I try switching to LMDE...
after a short time playing, the pop up window hangs up (the graphics never get loaded on the pop up window) and I am forced to quit the game.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Works OK for me. I just went on Pogo and played a couple of different games and they worked fine. But I used Iceweasel instead of Chrome for a browser. Didn't work well with Chrome. So you might try with Firefox/Iceweasel. Maybe it does java better.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the LMDE-section?

See if you're running the free open-jdk-jre or the proprietary sun-jre. Debian leans towards open, but the proprietary works better with some sites.

POGO will only work with sun/oracle java, and not on the OpenJDK.
