are there anyway to "steal" current theme of Mint 10 and use it in LMDE ?
it is pretty and I want to go back to LMDE

Just enable Mint's "Romeo" repository in the Software Sources program.
Or download the deb files from here: (mint-x)

It worked, but somehow I feel it is uglier than in the real mint 10
