Debian 6 has not yet been released.
If you want Debian with a modern kernel and wireless support, then download crunchbang statler.
It's
very light and fast, and wireless is as simple as it is on Mint Main.
I recommend the xfce version .

Although it claims to be an Alpha, it is extremely stable.After all, it
is Debian.
