[Resolved] Gdebi by default ?

Postby Nazebrock on Tue Dec 14, 2010 6:53 am

Hi guys,

I installed Gdebi to open .deb archive instead of the "normal" archiver in my LMDE.

The problem is that I want to use Gdebi by default and I found no way to do that. I have always to make a right-click to choose to open my archive with Gdebi.

Is there any way to do that automaticaly ?

Regards,

Nazebrock

PS: Excuse my poor english, I'm french :-)

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Right click any .deb file then choose Properties, then click on the Open With tab and choose Gdebi. That will make all .deb's open with gdebi by default from then on.
