Multiple Monitors (I know...)

This has always been a huge issue for me for all Linux distributions, but I'm usually able to figure it out. I really like what is happening with Mint so I've been trying to set up Linux Mint 12 with Gnome 3 and possible Compiz (just for show not required). I've tried several different things to try and get it working (and I'm not currently at that computer so I can't provide you all with some logs) but none of them seem to work. Here's what's worked best:

Fresh install of Linux Mint 12 x64
Uninstall and blacklist Nouveau
Install the latest Nvidia driver downloaded from the website (295.49)

I know that's a pretty weak explanation of what I did, but like I said, I'm not at my computer so I'll be able to provide logs and more specific details later.

The issue:
Gnome3 will always crash and run in fallback mode when I run more than 1 monitor. It will usually work just fine with the Nvidia drivers I installed with just 1 screen.
It acts like it would if I were to run it in virtual box without 3d acceleration enabled.

My hardware:
I have one monitor on each of these cards:
EVGA GTX460 - this monitor runs at 1920x1080 at 60Hz and is in the center
EVGA GTX460 - this monitor runs at 1600x1200 at 60Hz and is to the left
EVGA 512-P3-N800-AR GeForce 8800 GT - this monitor runs at 1024x768 at 60Hz and is to the right

I can get all 3 screens working so that I can drag windows between them, switch workspaces, etc. But this is all in the gnome-fallback mode. I'd like the full 3d version of gnome 3 to work. And I'm a huge fan of the infinity sign with the launcher.

Yes I've played around a TON with the xorg.conf file and still can't get it to work.

Thanks for your help and it would be great if you can even just point me in the right direction.

Now here is the more detailed stuff:

On first login (after a fresh install of Linux Mint 12 64 bit) I ran:

And did a complete uninstall of the nouveau-video driver, then:

$ sudo apt-get upgrade

And while that was upgrading:

$ sudo vim /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

and added:

blacklist amd76x_edac #this might not be required for x86 32 bit users.
blacklist vga16fb
blacklist nouveau
blacklist rivafb
blacklist nvidiafb
blacklist rivatv

I saved and exited. Then I ran:

$ sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia*
$ sudo gedit /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common

And added:

DISABLED_MODULES="nv nvidia_new"

Then

$ sudo apt-get install dkms build-essential make
$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic
$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-3.0.0-12-generic

Downloaded and extracted these files to my Downloads folder:

Downloaded the latest nvida driver from the website to downloads.
Added -pkg0 to the end of the driver name before .run and ran:

Just to check to see if I have the correct kernel source installed.
I then rebooted.
Clicked CTRL+ALT+F3 to open a shell

$ cd /home/username/Downloads/
$ sudo sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.49-pkg0.run

license -> accept
32 bit compatibility opengl -> yes
make xorg.conf file -> yes
complete -> OK

Droped to shell again CTRL+ALT+F3

Now. I can login as it is now and everything seems to work perfectly. Gnome3, the launcher (and even compiz if I were to install it).
But if I launch:

And set up my monitors as seperate x servers (because twinview is greyed out :/ ) in their correct locations and enable xinerma then run:

$ sudo nvida-xconfig --twinview

And restart the x server using CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE
...
Well... This is when gnome crashes to falback mode.

This is what happens if I run:

And it just crashes to fallback mode again.

Welp. I've done everything I can, and I can't find a fix.

I'll be sure to post back if I do find one.

I ended up installing the 302.07 beta drivers for 64 bit linux, and fixing all the errors when I enable compositing.
To fix those errors I just had to install the empathy/telepathy package and make a few adjustments to my xorg.conf file.

To my knowledge it just seems like 3 separate monitors on 3 separate graphics cards (having full 3d, and being able to move windows between them) is nearly impossible at the moment.
It seems as though it's just drivers and compatibility problems with gnome 3. What I need, is a way to enable twinview (without xinerama) across GPUs.
