mint 12: Error initializing editor

Hi,

Recently i have installed linux mint 12 and after packages update my defults users privileges are not working..
ealriers the default user was able to confiure (ON/OFF) wireless and other network setting but now whenever it tries to do so an eror pop up's as:
Error initializing editor .sufficient privileges.

Any idea.. what's wrong here ?
