Hot corner or Hot windows

Hi,

I've got a question about Gnome3 (this also appears in Cinnamon and since Cinnamon is based on Gnome3...):

When i have a window open and drag it over my desktop and release it, it expand immediatly over the whole desktop. Since i don't want this i ditched Gnome3/Cinnamon for Mate. But still it keeps bugging my brains and i can't find a good solution on internet using Google.

So this is my question:
Is there a solution available to disable that idiotic hot corner or hot windows on Gnome3/Cinnamon?? Any reply would be very much appreciated!

In Mint 13 Maya Cinnamon:

Menu > Preferences > Cinnamon Settings > Hot Corner
Untick "Hot corner enabled" box.
