HI is there any such a thing as a windows 2000 clasic desktop on mint 13?

I have no idea, I certainly wouldn't do it, it won't turn a Linux desktop into a windows desktop, apart from the theming being applied: the underlying file manager operations will still usually be Linux-centric..
