no gnome-shell on a Gnome 3 session

no gnome-shell on a Gnome 3 session

Postby Fibonacci on Mon Dec 26, 2011 3:14 am

Hello.

I've found that whenever I log in to a Gnome 3 session there are no bars, and keyboard shortcuts don't work. So every time I have to launch a terminal from the desktop menu and run "gnome-shell --replace" to get a working session.
Is there any way to prevent that?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I have the same problem. The original post was Nov last year! No replies or suggestion?
I find that really odd. Do the devs read this forum or do I have to file a bug? What gives?

Apparently this was already reported on Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/865023
I don't think the devs read this forum, but surely they do read Launchpad, so would you please come and confirm the bug as affecting you too?
